Mark's Army of Support: His Friends
Without a doubt, the people who take up a very large portion of Mark's heart are his friends.
Most people lose contact with high school friends after six years.....but most people are not like the Mehlville High School Class
of 2001. Some of Mark's friends are no longer with us....Kevin Houska, Jonathan Hearst, Shelley Meilink....yet
these people are thought of frequently by Mark and his family. He keeps Kevin and Jonathan's mass cards in his car at
all times, and Shelley's picture was the only picture he kept on his dresser in his Memphis apartment.
When Mark was ill in January, he had friends come from Chicago, Colorado and Memphis in addition to his friends in St. Louis
This group bands together whenever their strength is needed by another. Mark's family knows that Mark was able to
overcome the trials of Jan 2007 because of the love and support of his friends. God Bless Mark's friends.
